Associate Mediator – Advanced Family & Divorce Certified

Dr. Guetersloh grew up in Indonesia and Malaysia and went to High School in Singapore before returning to the U.S. to study Radiological Health Engineering at Texas A&M University. Upon graduation he moved to San Diego to obtain his law degree and was licensed to practice in California, Guam and the Federated States of Micronesia, as well as the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. He returned to Texas A&M for a Masters in Health Physics and then went to Colorado Sate University and earned his Ph.D. in Radiation Physics.

Dr. Guetersloh spent several years with the Life Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory performing experimental particle physics research for NASA, He spent some time at Stanford’s Linear Accelerator in the Radiation Physics Department where he helped design shielding for the the world’s first x-ray free electron laser known as the Linac Coherent Light Source, He then transitioned to NASA’s Johnson Space Center where he became the Space Weather Expert during the Constellation era where his focus was on the prediction of large Galactic radiation storms. At the end of Constellation he moved to College Station to once more join his former department at Texas A&M, this time as an Assistant Professor teaching radiation safety and high energy physics, and researching noninvasive methods of tumor treatment and therapy with high-energy charged particles. He was also the Radiation Dosimetrist for the former Inspiration Mars Foundation and has analyzed data from the radiation detectors on the Mars Science Laboratory.
